Directions on Your First Day to Montessori Playgroup

Our playgroup is located adjacent to the Claremont Primary School in Princess Road, Claremont. Try to park on the north verge of Princess Road between Bay View Tce and Chester Rd. If you park on Princess Road and walk, you can see LCDB signs pointing to a separate building that is surrounded by trees and next to a school field. LCDB is not visible from Princess Road, so you must head towards the school field.

Please do not park at the art school carpark.

Plan to come at 9:15am. Bring a healthy snack for your child. For example, you can bring a serving of fresh/dried fruit, or corn thins. Do not bring nuts or foods containing nuts, as some of our children are hyperallergic to them. The playgroup goes from 9:15am to 11:15am, and both you and your child will be expected to actively participate in the session.

For what to expect on your first day, please read information for 'First Timers.'

There are parents who have enjoyed LCDB bringing two children at once. However, given the nature of the activities and duties, some parents will find the experience a little overwhelming. Do feel free to try it out though, Montessori-oriented parents are very helpful and will seek to make your experience a positive one.
